Individual therapy
Every one of us deals with a multitude of stressors in our day-to-day lives. Husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, aging parents, children, co-workers, jobs, bosses, school, physical illness, infertility, death and other losses, past or present abuse, weight problems, anxiety, and depression are some of the things that cause us stress. Sometimes, the struggles in life feel too big for us to handle alone. Friends and family often provide enough support for us to get through the tough times. Sometimes, however, an objective, trained professional is needed to help us sort through our thoughts and feelings related to the people and situations we are struggling with. A professional therapist can teach you healthy coping skills and help you find your own solutions to personal issues. In therapy, you learn to communicate efficiently and effectively and to set healthy boundaries for yourself in relation to other people. You also learn to make healthy choices about how you think and act.
At Mind Body Health Services we have both male and female therapists. We have therapists who specialize in children’s issues, therapists who work with adolescents, and therapists who work strictly with adult issues.
